AREA 30 PARKING PERMIT HELPER NOTES
PURPOSE: Find in this page some useful notes on parking in SBIC/WFH (Courtesy SBNA)
According to Article 31, Subtitle 36-23 of the Baltimore City Code, the Director of Finance, with the Approval of the Board of Estimates, may periodically offer amnesty from the payment of penalties that have accumulated on Baltimore City parking fines. The last amnesty was in 2003 and the Baltimore City code (Article 31, Section 36-23) states that “no further amnesties may be offered for 10 years.” Source: www.Baltimorecity.gov (search on the ID 1064 and amnesty)
Baltimore City Parking Authority (Open or access your Web account!):
What is required for picking up your permits?: You must bring the following to the BCPA or the neighborhood meeting when picking up your permits after ordering online. (1) Printed Receipt (online ordering can be done before going up to BCPA or before the annual pickup in late December.) (2) Vehicle Registration(s) (3) Proof of Residency -recommend bringing your driver's license & BGE Electric Bill, etc. Take at least two forms of proof. Your lease or deed can also be used. Ordering Visitor Pass(s) Online: If you are eligible for a visitor pass(s), the passes can not be ordered online unless you call BCPA. As of December 22, 2008, the BCPA website does not support ordering online visitor passes for some unknown reason. However, you call 443-573-2800 they will override the software and order the pass for you.
Payments in person at BCPA, 200 W. Lombard Street: IMPORTANT: BCPA will only accept credit card or check. NO CASH ACCEPTED AT THIS TIME.
